In a time before Google, RSI created a Resource Center with the goal of collecting and disseminating reliable information about court ADR. Over the years, we have adapted the Resource Center, responding to shifts and growth in both ADR and technology. The website you are using is the latest iteration of RSI's efforts to support quality court ADR by providing reliable information.

RSI's Approach

A fundamental belief at RSI is that access to reliable information about court ADR will support the growth of quality court ADR. We understand that court ADR decision-makers and stakeholders do not have time to read all the information about ADR that is available. So, we have taken on the job of reviewing resources related to court ADR, summarizing them, including citation information and a direct link to the resource (when possible), and then making that information searchable. Our unofficial motto for the Resource Center is, "we read it, so you don't have to." By reading an abstract, we hope you will be able to decide if a particular resource will give you what you need for your court ADR program. We also offer content that RSI's court ADR staff experts have written that presents what we have learned about court ADR over more than two decades of work in the field.

RSI's Services

RSI's Resource Center is widely seen as the most comprehensive and respected source of information on court ADR available anywhere. Its foundation is a database holding information on thousands of resources; addressing a wide variety of court ADR topics; and including studies, articles, rules, statutes and more.

From that database, we have curated special collections intended to answer the questions most often asked of us. Sections such as Court ADR Across the US and Court ADR in Illinois enable you to find out what is happening jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction.

But the Resource Center is more than just a database. It offers untold pages of expert advice from the RSI staff. For example, we pretty much wrote the book on court ADR in the Design, Manage and Evaluate section. We also have developed Special Topics to provide a combination of curated information and our own advice on a number of topics and case types.
