The Virginia Association for Community Conflict Resolution is a "network of non-profit conflict resolution centers in Virginia." Executive directors of community mediation centers in the state began meeting informally as the Coalition of Community Mediation Centers in 1992. The Coalition helped to create the state's mediator certification standards and pilot mediation programs in county courts. The organization became the VACCR in 2000. The VACCR website provides information about the organization's projects, a timeline of the organization's history, and links to its member community mediation centers.
