This rule provides that the court may submit to case evaluation any civil action in which the relief sought is primarily monetary damages or division of property. Case evaluation for tort cases filed in the circuit court is mandatory, unless good cause can be shown that it would be inappropriate. Cases can be sent to case evaluation based on a motion by a party, stipulation by the parties or can be ordered by the judge. The rule also discusses the processes used at the hearing.
