These rules outline the requirements for conducting mediation and arbitration proceedings. They provide requirements regarding scheduling of sessions, attendance and authority of participants, continuance of discovery, sanctions for failure to attend, admissibility of evidence, confidentiality, conducting a trial de novo, and the filing of an award. The rules also provide a code of ethics for ADR providers, including requirements for disclosure, disqualification and impartiality.
