New York Community Dispute Resolution Centers Program 2006-2007 Annual Report

Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs. Jul. 1, 2007
http://www.nycourts.gov/ip/adr/Publications/Annual_Reports/AR06-07.pdf

This report describes the work of the New York Community Dispute Resolution Centers Program (CDRCP) from April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007. In 2006-2007, 19,674 mediations, conciliations and arbitrations took place, and 77 percent of cases mediated or conciliated reached a voluntary agreement. Fifty-two percent of cases referred to the program came from the courts, a two-point rise from 2005-2006. The report addresses issues of neutral qualifications and training as well as program management. Finally, Appendix A of this report provides a list of agencies that contract with CDRCP and Appendix B provides statistical tables.
