This statute makes all communication made during mediation confidential and protects mediators and parties from being subpoenaed to disclose such information. The only exceptions to these provisions are when disclosure is required by law, is agreed to by both parties and the mediator in writing, or is necessary to establish a claim in a dispute between the mediator and a party to the mediation.
