This statute instructs the Supreme Court to establish and implement rules for a statewide alternative dispute resolution program for civil cases filed with the courts. All civil disputes except those involving family law are eligible for referral to the program, and the dispute resolution services provided by the court must include arbitration, private trials, neutral expert fact-finding, and mediation, among others.
