This rule outlines the qualifications for providers and trainers of dispute resolution. Under this rule, directors of dispute resolution are required to keep a list of approved mediators, trainers, and trainings. To be approved as a mediator applicants are required to complete training, sign an agreement to follow ethical standards, co-mediate for three cases during their first year, and complete continuing mediator education.
