Section 720.311 of this statute permits the use of alternative dispute resolution for homeowners' association disputes. Under this statute, mandatory binding arbitration shall be used for election disputes between a member and an association. Mediation may be used for disputes between an association and a parcel owner disputes regarding: changes to their unit or common areas, board meetings, and access to the official board meeting records.
