This statute authorizes the Court of Chancery to mediate business disputes meeting certain requirements: the parties have consented to mediation; at least one party is a business entity; neither party is a consumer; and the monetary amount in controversy is no less than one million dollars. These mediations can be conducted by a member of the court or someone else with the court's authorization. The statute encourages the court to use mediation for corporate, commercial and technology disputes.
