16th Judicial Circuit of Illinois Local Rule 14.15 - Family Mediation

16th Judicial Circuit of Illinois. September 1, 1994; amended April 12, 2007
http://illinois16thjudicialcircuit.org/Documents/localCourtRules/Article_14.pdf

The rule limits court-referred mediation to issues of child custody, visitation, removal, or other non-economic issues relating to the child or children, and excludes any cases in which an impairment of one of the parties is found to exist. It outlines the qualifications of mediators and the referral and mediation process. It also addresses conflict of interest, provides for confidentiality, gives instructions regarding the provision of a status report and provides a method by which fees will be paid.
