16th Judicial Circuit. Jan. 1, 2016
http://www.illinois16thjudicialcircuit.org/Documents/localCourtRules/Article_16.pdf

Article 16 of the Kane County Local Rules outlines the court's rules for Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency. Rule 16.03 outlines the court's Child Protection Mediation Program. The Child Protection Mediation Program focuses on issues relating to the temporary or permanent allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time in cases involving abuse, neglect, or dependent minors, minors requiring authoritative intervention, or minors with addiction.

The rules also provide additional information on how mediators are appointed, required mediator qualifications, and the scheduling of mediation conferences.
